Dr. Kovacs graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 during which time she also completed her Masters of Science. She joined the hospital in 2020 and has loved working with a group of people who are as enthusiastic and dedicated to the human-animal bond as she is.
Dr. Kovacs appreciates the diversity this profession provides and has a special interest in feline endocrinology and chronic kidney disease. Every day there is an opportunity for growth and improvement in this job and no two days are the same. A highlight of her day-to-day in the clinic is creating lasting relationships with clients and their fur families!
She truly feels blessed that she has chosen a job that does not feel like work. When not at work, she enjoys gardening, cooking, fishing and spending time with her family at the cabin and sitting in a cold hockey arena in the winter.
