Although my academic background may come as a surprise, having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba, I am passionate about animal welfare, which led me into the veterinary field. Within veterinary medicine, I enjoy focusing on preventative care, pet nutrition, and dermatology. Educating owners on the importance of these aspects for their pet’s well-being is particularly rewarding. Building relationships with both our patients and clients brings me great joy, especially when supported by a dedicated team committed to our patients’ welfare. Outside of the hospital environment, you will find me listening to music, travelling, or playing softball. At home, my husband and I take pride in being pet parents to Hal, a lovable Alaskan Malamute and German Shepherd mix.
