Growing up on a hobby farm amidst a variety of animals, I developed an early passion for veterinary care. Graduating from Red River Polytechnic in 2000 with a degree in Veterinary Technology, I embarked on a fulfilling career in veterinary medicine. Over the course of eight years, I honed my skills in a mixed large animal practice, contributing to the bovine embryo transfer team. Additionally, from 2019 to 2023, I shared my knowledge by teaching in the Veterinary Technologist program at Red River College.

My professional interests lie in anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry, areas that allow me to continually expand my knowledge. What I find most gratifying about my work is the close-knit atmosphere of our hospital and the meaningful connections forged with both clients and patients.

My personal life is filled with the joys of three adult children and caring for an assortment of pets: Sherman Theodorus Pepperpots, an adorable Shihtzu-Bichon mix, along with Ruby the tarantula and Loki the bearded dragon.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, doing yoga, practicing my art skills, or relaxing at the cabin.
