From surgery to the process of recovery, ensuring your pet's safety is our utmost priority.
If your dog needs a surgical procedure, we offer advanced surgical care, recovery, and pain management for your pet. Our veterinarians can perform soft tissue surgery as well as orthopedic surgery.
Referral to a surgical specialist may be offered as well.
Yes, the night before surgery, your pet must fast at least 12 hours before admission for surgery or as indicated by your veterinarian. For your pet’s safety and well-being, this step is very important. We ask all family members to make an extra effort to ensure food is not available to your pet. Your pet may have access to drinking water up until 2 hours before admission to the hospital.
All pets undergoing surgery will have their blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood oxygen levels monitored by a certified veterinary technologist to keep them safe during the entire surgery. Also, we will record the most up-to-date contact information when you drop off your pet and will keep you informed about their condition and progress. We will use various pain management techniques to aid in your pet’s recovery. A veterinary technologist will provide you with instructions on how to manage your pet’s post-operative care at home.
